CLS teams certainly aren't "old" meta - I stopped using mine in favor of an EP lead and I'm actually holding better..but they're incredibly deadly still. A quick insertion of Baze in stead of GK or Thrawn for example and the NA / Zombie deal is done.

I do believe Ventress zeta lead is elite though and for arena is probably the best NS lead. Just put a zeta on MamaT and almost certainly my next will go toward Vent's zeta leader. It's Darth Vader's lead but ... with +30 speed and the NSs are pretty fast naturally. Sounds potent

Why do you feel Ventress is better?

Well, it's already something we've seen so it's pretty easy to gameplan. It's the zDV TM removal lead with +30% offense, but...and this is the huge part, is also has +30 speed attached and the NS are pretty fast naturally. Speed, damage, and TM removal - all huge arena skills. Zombie is the perfect pre-taunt vs. counters to catch AOE since she will just revive even if killed from the AOE protection MamaT pushes out. There's just incredible power in the Ventress TM removal lead, + speed, and plague. Plague is like a bomb sitting on you. The less you move and the more MT moves, the more damage you take and the more TM you lose. One key aspect is MT does damage to ALL plagued units with her basic attack...that attack will remove TM from ALL plagued units, not just the one shes attacking. So think about it - you have a fast MT with +30 speed, she's taking your TM consistently, which lowers your health from her basic attack, which then also gives her 35% TM for anyone <50% health...which leads to her attacking more, taking more TM and stacking more plagues. Strong cycle there. Meanwhile you'll have Daka also laying down stuns and she will be 160+ natural speed under Vent leader and hits 2 units, so 2 chances to take TM - it's a multi-player hit attack on the basic.
