Edit: Should also mention that protection listed there would be at g12, your zombies protection won't move from current number from increasing her stars.

2nd edit: i also just realized the health on that chart is based on g12 as well, with each star she gains just under(give or take) 85-100 strength per level so as a really rough estimate you can take what her strength is now add that range..
Also I just promoted my zombie to check from g7 3* to 4* she gained roughly 3k health.

Better to have it at 7* G2 so you can raid with it and do ridiculous scores in Sith Raid P4

It's a somewhat contentious design issue with the zombie.

In short, the other nightsisters gain various benefits when an ally dies or falls below a certain health threshold. Most notably, various turn meter gains and Asajj's stacking offense and crit chance. A zombie who is as fragile as possible dies as often as possible, triggering these bonuses more frequently.

Also a weak zombie will be killed by fracture and be able to taunt again quicker than a strong zombie which will stay alive and be unable to taunt. Thats important in a world where thrawn is by far the most used character in the meta report.
