Nihilus+ malak

Just wondering, if you use malak with nihilus lead, does he get his protection as health twice ? from lead+unique, or does one apply then the 2nd apply and he already has no protection
  • Only once.

This. Applies, then he doesnt have protection to apply it the second time.

On a related note, how does Malak or DN lead sith interact with TW and GAC? On offense, do you lose the full protection points even if unharmed? On defense, would all protection added to health be lost after the first attack? For example, Malak has 50k health and 100k protection and starts first defense with 150k health. If defense holds and the next defense start at 150k health minus any damage taken or 50k?

No, DN lead would guarantee you the full protection points on offense for everyone that is alive (same for Malak).

Yes, after a successful defend the protection is gone (and not kept in the health pool). This is part of some of the counter strategies that involve bringing in two teams, one to use up the specials and lower Malak's hp the other to finish off the rest of the team.

Actually someone did a video that they used a heal to check on that very thing and it seemed to confirm that the increased health pool remained after the first turn.

  • I can't watch that in any meaningful way atm but I see it's in GW. Are we sure the mechanics are the same for TW/GA as they are for GW?
