That isn't how it works though, since "and" means that there is a following clause, and the clause that follows and is incomplete, you can't refer back to the same word like that, English doesn't work that way. You can't just make up an antecedent, you need a pronoun or a separate subject
"They" is a pronoun. "They" refers to "stealthier allies" from the previous clause. So yes that actually is how English works.
There is no "they" following the and, there is no pronoun following it, the inclusion of "they" was in my personal fix to it. If you read closely, you would have noticed that I corrected the sentences, the original description reads "Level 7
Backroom Subterfuge - Stealthed allies gain 55% Critical Chance and gain 25% Turn Meter on a Critical hit." There is only a verb, and some direct objects with adjectives in them following the "and," and also there is one preposition. None of these are capable of being subjects.
