Ok so admiral and commanding officer of the death star i get them but Jedi general What?We could've got somebody who likes ships like lets see: Anakin, Rex, Rey, Han, Chewie, Lando, Grievous, Vader, Biggs, Veers, Antilles,or General Kenobi. They make a little bit of sense but I just can't see mace being a commander anybody agree/disagree with me.

I think it have something to do with the timeline the ships are used in, so Mace is fine.

They're not ship pilots, they're fleet commanders. Fighters are a small part of a fleet--both figuratively and literally, considering the size of a capital ship.

Ani and Plo did command fleets in the clone wars. Ani's flagship was the Resolute. The other ships were the Redeemer and Defender.
Plo's flagship was the Triumphant. He also had two additional Venator-class Star Destroyers under his command.

Yoda might make a bit more sense logically but Mace also filled that role for the Jedi and is much easier to obtain in-game. But if we have both Empire and Rebel fleet commanders, then I feel as if we need a Separatist fleet commander to balance out Mace as the Republic's commander. Dooku? Grievous?
