Old Ben

There is nothing more frustrating than fighting an old Ben lead team once he gets dodging. Seems like there is a snowball effect ... Put him and ST Han and it is pretty much lights out.

I don't want to do an Old Ben lead tho- he would just be a part of the team. I'm kind of tired of the evasion meta and I want to do something else. So I would use Ackbar lead and Ben would just be a support member

Thanks for the input, that all makes sense. So the verdict is that he's not using unless he's leader? Even if he's only there to ensure st Han's taunt can't be dispelled for 1 turn so he can feed my Rey/leia turn meter?

I tried running the same team with ben as support. Only issue is with Ackbar Leia gets an extra shot when a toon does a special that doesn't attack. Ben's special counts as an attack for some reason so you lose a chance to use Ackbar's awesome lead skill with him.

A good support to consider is 5's. He doesn't have a special with no attack but it does call another attacker, just no definitely Leia (or Ackbar). Once you get to the end, it will be 5's and Leia. Just hide behind 5's and go to town.

I do have a g9 5s that I could potentially replace someone with on defense (maybe QGJ).

Did you have ST Han in your team with Ben? Was Ben able to secure a round of enemy basics on Hans taunt before opponent could dispell taunt?

Or does anybody else have experience using Old Ben as a non-lead support character in arena?
