Old player back after 2 years

8. Fleet arena is a great place to climb and earn crystals. There's such a diverse meta with all the capital ships in the game that as long as you do your 5 battles daily, you'll get top 10/20.
9. Jedi Knight Revan and Darth Revan were meta once, but they are so easily countered now that they really aren't worth the farms. Instead, Phoenix is a great catch-all team still that contributes to all game modes.
10. If you're going to join a guild, be sure to farm the characters that help with raids ASAP. Aurra Sing and Young Han Solo fill this role well.

Don't even listen to them. You have a hard work to get back to play and top arena as you have been missing 2 years of crystals, resources and so.

Everything is about relics now and that's a painful farm.

So better to start anew , right?

I would start a new account, yes. Ahnald (YouTube/Twitch) has been doing a playthrough with a new/F2P account so you could start by watching some of those to see what to farm.

I actually think he pushed towards Separatists first (not Phoenix). Phoenix was the old go-to, but I have no idea how I would start a new account these days.

First thing is you need to see how your arena is. If it is still full of players your best bet might be to start over. The only issue with that is if you want to still be F2P and others buy the Hyperdrive Bundle. I guess you might be kind of stuck in the middle.

11. Completely disregard Dryff's points 1-8 and 10. #9 is quite valid to my dismay.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So is there any guide to end game or current meta. @SylForge006 can you please elaborate? @Dryff thanks for the tips.... What is your go to squad for arean and fleet? Trying to find a silver bullet till I am used to the new mechanics.....

I came back in January after a similar break. No starter guide but I'll summarise your first couple of months in 2 words:

Farm Phoenix.
