1. There is literally no debate - R2 is head and shoulders above Ackbar regardless of absolutely anything. R2 is one of the best characters in the game.

2. It's a toss up between Leia and Ezra. Ezra is good, I like him and he hits hard. But a well-geared and a well-modded Leia, for me, has been an absolute killing machine. A thing of savage precision and deadliness. It was Leia undoubtedly, along with Wedge and Biggs that dragged me through from newb to high-mid game. I still use them sometimes for kicks as Wedge, Biggs and Leia are still one of the most powerful, and fun, trios in the game.

I don't think I want to disagree with you there, cuz you're almost surely not wrong, but imagine an R2 with no zetas. No passive cleanse, no health bonuses to the whole team. That's the two things he's best for in a CLS/rebel team, espeically without another cleanser. Could get away with it way easier if you had Chirrut Rex or GK, but without those ones, especially in this sith era, his team would get debuffed pretty easy.

Regardless, I would work on R2, get him in there asap, and do his Number Crunch zeta first, then his passive cleanse.

No hyperbole - but I don't think I've ever played a more enjoyable character. She's out of my Arena team now, OG Han's there instead. But it's always a delight to play her in Raids and other battles.

For a while I ran her as part of my arena team back when I did Rebels (though I've since switched to FO because I find them very enjoyable), but right now she's part of my main Rebel squad, which is typically my second-highest damage dealing squad on raids. Wedge, Biggs, Leia, Fulcrum and Old Ben. It's usually a toss up as to whether Leia or Fulcrum does more damage overall, but it's always an interesting competition between the two lol.

I guess many of the Wiggs teams I come across in GW are just nodded poorly. I send in a kamakazi team to take out wedge or absorb some rain from above attack the have, then I take them apart 1 by 1 with my HK 88 86 Daka, elder team.

I would go with laea because the few sighs teams that I can't beat have her, and I suck

I'd disagree. Just personal opinion, of course. But my Arena team back in the day progressed hugely once I made Wedge leader instead of Ackbar.

The team I suggested would give your team a lot of turn meter considering the unique and special abilities the characters have.

It depends on the situation. Wedge is a better pvp leader. He is also a better healer than AA over long fights. Im not downing AA at all but its not an absolute "he has a better lead."

Q2 Not farmboy, leia and ezra have different bonuses. Ezra can wipe off a taunt which is nice but leia can buff your team.

If you've got raid han, i'd give him a chance. wiggs, raid han, cls and r2 is a suprisingly good team.
as for the questions, i'm not entirely sure what you're asking in q1. Whether R2 without zeta's is better than ackbar? If so, i think r2 without zeta's is better than ackbar. Kinda depends on how much you need that ackbar cleanse.
q2; i agree with the comment above, i personally prefer ezra though.

I don’t have CLS and Raid Han is about to unlock at 5*
I do have all the pre-requisites at 7*, G9 (old Ben etc)

Leia is the biggest damage dealer in the whole team including wiggs. Make sure r2 gives her stealth then use her stealth ability and watch your enemy melt.
