C3PO starts the battle with Translation. Because he has a buff at the start of battle, Intermediary applies:
All allies have +10% Defense Penetration. Each time a Galactic Republic or Ewok ally gains a different, non-unique, non-Protection buff, they gain 15% Protection Up for 2 turns (does not stack with itself). For each stack of Translation, Galactic Republic have +10% Defense Penetration, doubled for Ewoks.
He then has Protection Up right off the bat, so he resists everything from Force Crush. If anyone else gets critically hit by the initial physical damage from Force Crush, Kenobi taunts, that ally gains Crit immunity, which then, because of Intermediary from C3PO, gains them Protection Up. They then resist the debuffs from Force Crush, because of Padmé's leadership, which are applied after the damage.
