Player Can't Change Name. HELP a Guild Officer Out :)
I’m an officer in a guild. One of our players is very productive and advancing nicely but their name is Mol Eliza. We’ve been trying to get this player to change their name, recently we learned by communicating through Discord they cannot change their name. :(
This player sent a picture (below) of the in-game screen that shows their player information, and the PENCIL TO CHANGE THEIR NAME IS MISSING. Since the pencil is missing, the player has no way to change their name or interact with the in-game chat box feature.
I walked the player through how to set up their iPhone account which included adding their date of birth (DOB) to their Apple ID. At this time, I confirmed they are over 21 years old. I also helped them update their EA account which also included adding a DOB. Then they uninstalled the game on their iPhone and reinstalled the game. After all this, the PENCIL IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE. :(
THIS IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP.
(1) What does it mean when the “pencil” on their player information screen is not available?
(2) What can we do to help them change their name?
Sadly, if we don’t get this players name changed before another Mol Eliza joins the guild, the guild leader may kick both Mol Eliza’s. We don’t want this to happen. Our current Mol Eliza is very productive and plays daily. Please help.
