Power Update to characters

Many have already experienced the power update to their characters and it sounds like the rest of us soon will. We posted an article to the site which elaborates on the topic, yet it somehow got moved to the "Off Topic" forum. I will not re-post the link (just a link to the post on the Off Topic board) here out of respect for the moderators, but for those interested in the topic, or in discussion of that topic, this post can be a place to discuss. As for posting links on the forums, we (Gaming-fans.com) are a recognized Media member (yeah, that is a thing) by EA.

    If you have to keep reminding people that you're a "recognized media member", then either people dont care or you aren't. Dont get salty when people dont care about your opinion.

    And making a thread just to link to another one of your threads thats just a link to an article you wrote is not an act of "respect to the moderators", its pettiness.

    I think the Power numbers in SWGoH are a topic that has no great answer. The old system (which is still current on my game) was fine provided you know the game well enough to know how power is used in SWGoH. However this new system, on paper, does not make as much sense to me. That having been said, it's not like I have a better answer.

    My guess is the original post was based on informing the masses about your news, although relevant to the game, and was moved to Off Topic because your post didn't reflect information about the game. It reflected your website.

    I read it, good info, but that's my guess

    The old system was horrible. It didn't take into consideration many things, Zetas included. This was extremely bad, as you could have 2, 3, 4, 5, 99999 Zetas in your roster/team and it still would've just counted level and gear and mods to some extent. What were people who aren't lucky enough to have that many mats, supposed to do?
