Which is all irrelevant. Have you run Geos against HT? If not, then your experience is simply the wrong kind and not directly applicable to the conversation.

Running HT against Geos gives you some knowledge as to whether running Geos can beat HT, but it isn't actual experience running Geos against HT, so can't really be used as a platform of authoritative knowledge.

To put it another way, The reverse of the matchup isn't the same matchup.

I'm not at all disagreeing with your sentiments. I'm also not even slightly implying you don't know what you're talking about. I am flat out telling you that what you are using to "prove" that you know what you're talking about doesn't prove anything.

Your perspective here is somewhat backwards to what the conversation was asking. Whether or not AI controlled Geos can take out a human controlled HT was never in question.

The question was whether human controlled geos can take out an AI controlled HT.

Only having experience in the former doesn't really qualify one to talk about the latter with authority.

EDIT: Though I do agree that Geos are probably one of the less good ones simply due to lack of a buff wipe.

Vader's tl can't be resisted. So it will land within a few turns with vader and tf. I run my 4 star ht and it lasts that long.

I have biggs in reinforcements tgat adds a second tank to buy more time. He also adds tl to the target when he's called. Ghost is also a reinforcement that puts tl on all enemies when called in. He also can call an assist right after. Call vader or tf and you probably will get tl if you don't already have it. Fett as a reinforcement puts tl on his basic. Fives puts tl on all enemies when called if they have low tm and then on the target when you aoe. He also cleanses on his basic.

So with that much tl available, it will land even with bad rng.

And you don't have to clear the taunt to be effective. Clearing the protection up is the important part. Even if he taunts again, without the protection up he dies in like 2 turns. And if they have multiple tanks out his taunt coming back is helpful at times to finish him.

Many of the counters to ht require perfect rng....you can wipe its taunt with numerous ships unless of course breach is on any opponent ship which xanadu blood almost guarantees... run tie advance and slave one with ht in the starting lineup and and by the time you get a TL or cleanse to apply most of your ships are dead already

Not true at all. Ht already has ships that counter it. If you incorporate them into your fleet, you can do fine.

To name a few. Vader, tf, fives, asoka. They can all dispel the protection up ht gets and then the next attack does damage. Tf even puts buff immunity on it to stop the protection gain for awhile.

So just because you haven't figured out how to beat it doesn't mean it can't be done. I beat ht teams in my shard all the time to take first. It can be done without ht, though I use ht because it does hold a little better on defense than biggs. And I'm not a whale. 100% ftp.

Reaper is another counter (as a reinforcement). Defense down plus buff wipe does wonders.

Oh, also Geos, especially under Ackbar. Assists wreck HT.

Ackbar and geos dont touch a max hound. Try again

Hound's Tooth is not as impossible to take down as people are suggesting. You just have to hit it for more damage than it gains in protection up. This can be with assists, single hits, AoEs... doesn't matter. The faster you can do it the better.

Buff wipes and buff immunity are not required to beat him.

Geos with all their assists should be able to whittle him down nicely.

Buff wipes and buff immunity sure helps though. After you wipe buffs or put buff immunity on with tf, you can often one shot it from there. More effective than the whittle down aporoach in my opinion.

does removing buffs help buff immunity not get resisted don’t know if bad breaks but multiple buff immunities in a row resisted last few fights don’t know if I just need stronger TFP to reduce this chance

You have to have tl first. But it isn't req to use another character to remove buffs first. But it doesn't hurt. Tf's special does pretty good damage so doing it after clearing protection up can often finish ht.

I NEVER have this happen to my 157 speed chimera. There is something else at play that you aren't aware of, or are not realizing is occurring.

Tarkins Ship is faster agreed however 95% of the time I reach my main ability or I have destroyed the enemy fleet before it gets to its BIG gun. So if your going to run tarkin, you need to be very confident of your team composition and have an element of luck with crits in order to ensure u take me down fast.

I have my tarkin ship also maxed out and I tend to flit between them both depending on the top 3 teams. So I am lucky but only because I did invest a lot of time on my ships and making sure they were a prio and I don't regret that at all. I think ships are in some way more important then toon arena.

Of course - but realistically (at least until 6* HT start appearing) if you're getting to your ultimate I've already lost. Tarkin is going to get to reinforcement before you - and if that reinforcement is ghost you could be looking at a serious numbers issue.

On a side note - Thrawn's ultimate is a great way to get rid of HT as well!
