Progression slowed... Ways to speed it back up?

After playing for 4 days I'm now level 35 and have hit a wall in terms of game progression, for both light (final normal challenge in area 4) and dark (mid way through area 4). On the dark side I'...

Yeah everyone does when they stop giving you like 8 levels a day. For like 10-15 levels you should be able to do 1 level per day then 1 level every other day and then 1 level every 2-3 days.

Buy energy refills with the crystals you get and it will speed things up a little bit and net you heroes. Don't worry about just completing all the stages, worty about shards and gear.
