Question about Lord Vader and Blastech weapon mod mechanics (Wat Tambor)

This may be a stupid question, but would Lord Vader not benefit from the 15% TM gain from Wat’s BWM tech? His unique states that he is “immune to TM manipulation”. Thanks.
