R2 Event

Gear them up and put your best mods on them. I lost RG, he's gear 8, but Tarkin and TFP were G10, and Palp and Vader G11. Also a zeta on Vader. It was meant to be a harder legendary event

Last time, with g9-10-11 (mods from my Arena squad), it was way too easy to be satisfying. So, I'd say g9 with good mods would be enough.
And a bit of RNG off course. There's nothing wrong in not beating it at the first try. I unlocked Palpatine last August at my 20th try, at least (at that point, I was simply hitting auto). Continue tweaking your composition, gear and mods, and RNG will do the rest.

EP lead Vader, ShrTrooper, Death Trooper, Krennic, all gear 10, and won with 3 stars. Just I think Veers, Snowtrooper are too weak for this event

ok, my guild told me to stun the tanks, so i tried that and first time around I was able to kill everyone but chewy and r2, but that was a one time thing. any pattern to who I should take out first? my vader is now gear 10 and ep is 11. the rest are stuck at or under gear 9. looks like i am just going to miss out on my seven star r2 =/.

Even though the TM is lost on the Zader lead, the permadots are what you want. The DOTs tick on every turn and they take a metric crapton of them. R2 was dead by my third turn and I managed to kill off Ben and Chewie with Zader and Palp.

what do you mean by DOTS? first try with ep lead and it was a total fail. didn't kill a single toon! going to try a vader lead now.

ok this makes no sense to me.....i read another thread and players are finishing this with ease with lesser toons and worse mods? what gives? is my luck just that bad? i tried using health mods..nothing..using speed mods now and did ok the first time, but same ol'...tried critical chance mods as well and nada.

that's what i have......derp.

finally completed it after 100 tries or so. took the advice and focused on r2 with ep's stuns and aoe. i then took out han, luke, leia in, then finished off ben and chewy. i only used ep's special once. success!!!!
