R2 or Resistance Trooper?
I'm working on my JTR team currently. I have the choice between taking R2 or Resistance Trooper to g12 right now (they both have a conflicting piece). If I take RT to g12, I can score high in the hero...

Keep in mind that what's good offensively is not always good defensively. Resistance Trooper is nice, but your AI seems to be as bad as possible when it comes to using expose intelligently. In the long term, I think R2 is the way to go.
I wouldn't use trooper for arena. My choice is be ready for p1 of the hSTR, or get r2 ready to switch to a JTR team in arena (jtr, bb8, gk, thrawn, and r2 would be g12).
