The Wedge/Biggs combo is very powerfull and toghether with Lando is the base of most rebel teams, but Wedge and Biggs receive the speed bonus of Wedge, so if your leader is Ackbar, you have a very high speed bonus.
Leader bonus at max:
Ackbar give +25 speed bonus, +10% tenacity and extra atacks using no atack skills;
Lando give +15 speed bonus and more 29% critical damage;
Wedge give +30% atack bonus, in critical hit recover 15% health and 10% turn, receive 25% health when one enemy is defeat.
Wedge receive from another skill +12% damage and +9 speed bonus for each ally with full health, and +15 speed bonus from an ally that the life is not complete, if Biggs is in the team, receive the same bonus (its not an leader skill).
Ackbar as leader +25, if only one ally is alive with full health, +9, without full health +15. So 34-40 (here i wrote wrong and was kicked before see and correct);
Ackbar as leader and 2 allys alive, 43 -55;
Ackbar as leader and 3 allys alive, 52 - 70;
Ackbar as leader and full team alive, 61-85.
I could be wrong, but for fights that you have enough firepower to put down the enemies without the Wedge leader bonus, Ackbar is the best option, but for harder fights, Wedge as leader is the best.
About strongest rebel team, for me is Wedge, Biggs, Lando, Han Solo and Ackbar.
