Relic Bobba sidious and savage is hammering me

It pains me to write this, but in 3 v3 a relic 5 Bobba lead, relic 4 sidious and g12 savage is eating me up. I don't have any relic toons unfortunately, but even my g12 toons I've tried over a few rounds are getting shot down. And I was able to beat a full relic 5 squad of ep, Vader and thrawn with less. I've now lost my main ns squad and jtr with bb8 and r2. Don't have Darth revan or malak, but still some ok offense. Someone please help me out here. I don't want to waste any more higher level toons if it doesn't finish them off or lead to it.

    Not sure why you're referencing me here, but I guess I'll explain better? You want your team to be fast and have more people that can land exposes. Under JTR, Finn can spam his special for a double expose, and keep a toon stunned. So, more exposes and less turns for them. You could also use resistance trooper, trading the stun for a TM boost on expose. Either way, R2 doesn't do a whole lot for you in a 3-man team. If you need R2 for BB8 to go before Boba, your mods aren't good enough and you shouldn't use a team with weaker mods AND gear.

    56k health and 45 odd protection
    Mod all you want (which will be highly unlikely for anyone to load up 6 health mods with three or four 16% health mods primaries) and his health would still be mediocre.

    So yes, squishy compared to just about every other g13.


    Actually, relic Sidious(mine is r5) gains ludicrous amounts of health under Traya and Palpatine, and alone too, so long as he's modded properly with lots of potency. Go read his kit and it will all make sense. He soaks up massive crits like they're nothing.

    Edit: Might as well add that when it comes to damage, added CD will work wonders on Sidious with relics. Considering his high base speed, a CD set will do more for his versatility than a speed set, and it goes without saying he should have a CD triangle.

    Also sorry if I'm derailing the thread a wee bit.

    This implies that the more health the easier it will be to kill him with expose . But expose does the same amount of % damage regardless of how much or little health you have if it takes 5 exposes to kill a toon at 100k then it take 5 at 10k.
    Didn't need you to explain how the team works I'm fine with that , I was making sure you understand how expose damage works.

    If a toon has 50K protection and 50K health, it will take 10 exposes at 10K damage to kill them. If that character has 50K protection and 100K health, it will only take 7.5 exposes to kill them. If you don't scale your protection with increasing health, you will die faster from exposes, or any percent health damage. This is exactly why Geo TB enemies have a way higher protection pool compared to their health pool.

  • He speaks the truth, it's better to just have some good old fashioned fun instead of chasing first place in a game that has nothing to do with strategy or competitive play.

    I've focused first and foremost on building up my sith which are my favourite toons. I have all of them except two at relic level 5 or above now, and no regrets whatsoever.
