How important is gear VIII for Rey? I really, really don't want to grind those 50 syringes to finish gear VII. I was hoping to wait for the next major update to see if all those 50 requirements get in...

I still don't understand the purple gear split in challenges. Almost all of it is useless, I have hundreds of unusable purple mets but the ones that we need are not available a down we can't even sell it.....
