How important is gear VIII for Rey? I really, really don't want to grind those 50 syringes to finish gear VII. I was hoping to wait for the next major update to see if all those 50 requirements get in...

Thanks for all the information shared.. 1 additional question, if you already have enough 7* and maxed level and gear toons, at how many stars would you start putting Rey into your team comp? Is 5 star enough for her? Or she require at least 6*?
