I think you need to get yourself into a guild with an active discord server and a few experienced players to help you out. A lot of the questions you're asking are things that most of us have learned either through experience, research, or through the sound advice of skilled players. This game has been around long enough that most of the content (including gear drop rates, locations, farming strategy, etc) has been analyzed and scrutinized by hundreds (if not thousands) of people who eat, breathe, and live for statistics. The info is out there. Start with swgoh.gg - also check out swgoh.help or do a google search for the info you're looking for. Really though, if this isn't the kind of information that your guild mates can help you with, you may want to look into moving to a different guild with players that will give you a hand. Efficient farming is the single most important skill to master. Check out some of the 'new player farming guides' - even though you're not a new player, it may help you fill in some gaps in your roster that you may not even realize are there.
Best of luck with LV - fwiw, I have a guild mate that just started doing hard mode in the last conquest. No GL and none of the 'standard' counters to take down LV, After two days of trying, they finally came up with a strategy that worked and they got past it. You can do it, you just have to get the right pieces of the puzzle together and maybe a little bit of luck with RNG.
