Sector 4 Lord Vader is Impossible

Well… I got him finally changing my dots+thermal detonator build for some defensive and offense disks. I used SEE (r6) as a leader and brought in Wat Tambor (g9), Darth Malak (r3), Emperor Palpatine (r7) and fallen Bastila Chan (r3). I also used a defense booster as well as a health medpack. It took me 3 or 4 tries but I finally did it focusing on LV and linking him and Darth Vader. SEE instakilling Darth Vader and the red Guard helped a lot as well as his leader’s capability that restores 100% health and protection when a Sith companion dies. Emperor Palpatine survived too and did surprisingly well during all the fight.

I got not feats out of this but I’m happy enough with the victory. What an horrible battle…

You need to get the global event feats finished. Massively overpowered disk makes huge difference on sector 4 boss. Deployable cooling systems paired with offensive buffs make the sector 4 and 5 bosses a joke. I was stuck on sector 4 boss for 4 days until I finished the global feats. Imp troopers with wat and frenzy tech for sector 4 boss. Vader lead for sector 5 boss for easy finish of all boss feats.

Pretty much the way to win this conquest is drop 2500 to 3000 crystal on energy refreshes and get the 250 wins finished by day 10. And make sure you have everything cleared up to sector 4 boss by the time you beat him so you can focus clearing sector 5 over last 4 days.

Sucks that the actual version of LV isn’t anywhere remotely as good as his conquest counterpart

I know what his counters are. I do not have them! Even if I did, my team would be instakilled without ever taking a single turn because my team would still not be fast enough. What is the point of this fight either than to block everyone without the specific counters from completing the event.

Soooo…. You’re complaint is not that it is impossible, but that it is impossible for you, right now, without the right roster and mods? Perhaps you are not ready for this part of the game. I think you know the solution.

steadfast retribution tech may have helped, but that would only apply to gas and shak
3dot leaders resolve
4 dot booming voice
2 dot power - 27%off 22%cd
2 dot stacking off - 5% off gain stacking with buff
1 dot opp support 3 - 6% health recovery attacking out of turn

Just tried this. No go. Must be more to it.

After dozens of attempts, still no. Looks like Royal Guard is healing the team in a way that counters Steadfast Retribution. Don’t waste your crystals.

I am 6mil GP and no GL's and can't touch this on normal mode. Last conquest finished out on normal with days to spare no problem. They definitely upped the difficulty this last go round for reasons? I've avoided GL's because I hate the way EA baits you to get the latest and greatest that you'll farm for months only to have it negated by the next latest and greatest toon. A few months ago finally decided can't put it off anymore but am still a few months off from getting my first. Seems like it takes 6-8 months per GL.
