Shard Requirement To Unlock Related To Character Strength?
Are the characters that require 80 shards to unlock more viable/powerful/useful than characters that cost 10/25/50? Or is it just randomized?

Not random. They are generally "better" if they require more shards to unlock, but really they just unlock at a higher star level. It still takes the same number of shards to build a 7* character, no matter how many stars they have at unlock.
Understood. I was asking because I was thinking of prioritizing unlocking the 80 shard characters first, then the 50, then 25, then 10.
