Ships is too important now
A secondary game feature now has better rewards than squad arena.

I think it's due to the fact there's only 1,000 participants in each shard and there isn't too much competition until rank 200-ish? In my shard, top 50 have at least 2.3mil GP so I have a tough time getting past rank 300 with majority of 7* ships and G10-12 toons.
