- It’s easier to pivot if you’ve saved up

Exactly. Save until you have enough to activate it. That way if something changes, like a better ship/toon shows up in the mk2 store you can swap to it without 'losing' anything by having say 40/145 shards."DuneFlint;c-2158543" wrote:

Thirded. Once you start buying the shards, it does not take long to spend that pile you have saved. Save enough to unlock or 7*, then splurge.- LordDirt5 years agoSeasoned AceMy advice is to always 7* every character and every ship.

The question isn't if they should take it to 7 star. The question is should they spend their currency on ship shards as they get the currency ir wait till they have 39k currency and spend it all at once (or more if they wait to buy shards until they can afford all 330 at on time)"LordDirt;c-2158612" wrote:

Even CUP? :o :D- I don't think I'll be spending any of that on gear until both are 7*. I went with Negotiator as it fits my current roster better, but am more excited for the Malevolence ;)
IDK i like ships! "Rebmes;c-2158677" wrote:

I have both 7* and I’m still not spending get2. And yes, having both is great."DatBoi;d-234837" wrote:
I've heard of a number of people saving up their valuable currencies rather than than spending it as soon as it comes in. Anybody have strong feelings on this?
Go Malevolence. It's best value and you "can" still get rank 1. You just won't have the best defense fleet.
FO could also be a good 2nd if you are going GL KR"Mephisto_style;c-2158685" wrote:

As a Malevolence player I wouldn't recommend. I would go for Negotiator first. Somehow I have the bad feeling, that as soon as a new Reliclevel/Mods3.0/Lvl90 comes to the game, the Malevolence will fall back because it heavily relies on the two droid ships. How big are the chances that pilotless ships will also get a "touch up" to keep up with the other ships?
