Sion Revival

He doesn't revive after annihilate for me. Nobody around me is using death trooper or boba for me to test. Are you definitely using a maxed-out annihilate?

I agree with the above. I have not seen him revive from annihilate

Don't confuse "Buff cannot be prevented" (like with Boba Fett, it says specifically, cannot be dispelled or prevented, so it's talking about BH resolve, and not the revive, since a revive can't be dispelled) with "Revive cannot be prevented" like NS Zombie. That might clear up the confusion.

For the boss, DN annihilate prevents revive, but zombie, whose revive cannot be prevented, still revives. But Boba Fett's BUFF is the only thing that can't be prevented (he can still get when he has Buff Immunity) but the rez itself is preventable. Similarly, with Zion, his buff cannot be prevented, but the res can.

If your question then, is about them STILL reviving, it's because the DN in question doesn't have that ability omega'd, whereas BF's "This unit cannot be revived" is baked into the execute ability. And, off the top of my head, only Zombie survives it.

Make sure you have actually spent the Omega on Nihilus. I thought this too for a while then realized I had actually not upgraded the Omega.

I find the opposite, Sion doesn't revive when he has the buff. I might be missing something somewhere though

Whenever I annihilate Sion, whether he has held by hatred or not, he doesn’t revive. I do have the omega on Nihilus’ ability which is what prevents the revive.

I find my sion/boba dont revive when they are murdered by traya in sith raid while they have their respective buffs and se get enrrage... Dont know why :smile:

But never saw either mine or other sion revive when anihilated xD

Traya’s Isolate also prevents revives even in the case of Sion having Held by Hatred up and running.

Sion does not revive with death mark on him. Ive played dozens of battles with DT vs sion in arena. Nor after Nihis annihilate.

I didn't want to start another thread, but I had something funny happen to me today with Sion.

I was in a Nightmare mirror match and I was down to my whole team and just the enemy's Thrawn left. My Thrawn had fractured him, and when it came to Sion's turn, Held By Hatred was off cooldown so I used it. It was immediately Sion's turn after that because of the 100% TM it grants, but instead of going to Break Will or whatever, I found that I had been ability blocked.

Even ignoring the fact that I wouldn't have been able to use HBH if I was already ability blocked, but the ability also cleanses debuffs. There's nothing in EP's leadership or Sion's ability that would lead me to believe that this is normal.

Now, mind you, I was facing a low health, fractured Thrawn with my entire Nightmare team, so it didn't hurt me at all, but it still had me scratching my head a little.

Has anyone ever come across anything like this?
