Is something going to be done about this? And what does everyone think would be an appropriate change to SEE’s kit that could solve this problem and balance out the GL’s?

You're exactly right about SEE just sabotaging existing counter squads, but to be fair, beyond the clickbaity title, Bulldog does mention this.
The video Bulldog is using from a prominent Sith disc member also is the product of serious work by people with heavy Empire/Sith rosters who know how to use them. And this is the best anyone's come up with.
