Yes, that's about the difference, the synergy.
I've been trying a Lobot droid team in cantina battles and facing equivalent level enemies I have 1-2 of their toons eliminated before they even get a turn and the AoE of HK and 88 have seriously degraded the rest with numerous debuffs on them.
Windu also is a good counter to taunts but he needs a serious buff to his dmg.
