So when are we getting a dominant droid meta?

Droids will never be meta dominant.
Cannon and legend wise they are there to make good and bad guys look good and there is no reason for that to change in this game.

As for ships I am afraid that its too late for them as instead of balancing ships and making it at least somehow fun they keep releasing more and more OPed ones.

If droids will never be meta dominant then why would the devs even tease this?

Then why are you posting a pic from a YouTube video and not the quote from the dev update?

Droids were one of the first ever metas. HK, 86, 88, JE and Poe was a beast before g10. They had their time. So many other factions have never been meta: FO, Scoundrels, BHs, Galactic Republic.

More ships being released is great. I believe ship content is coming.

As for droids - I’m hoping for a great hk lead zeta. I had my hopes up for gg but alas doesn’t seem so.

Waiting on a hk lead zeta to pair with ig-88 zeta ipd zeta l3 zeta and t3. Maybe a sub of bb8 as well.

Ok so obviously the update for t3m4 came way after the hk47 meta. So to say that satisfies this teaser from last year really doesn't make sense, and if you really consider the old hk47 meta to be fully representative of what droids truly have to offer that's just sad. Point of this post being this was the opportunity that droid fans expected for meta dominance and instead they get a B or C grade team.

They have a 5 year plan. Would not surprise me if we get a droid meta year 4 or 5.
