It's not worth starting over, progress is progress. Arena doesn't matter. The break doesn't affect your Grand Arena. Ship arena does matter. However, you'd need to get a meta-fleet at some point (preferably asap), so restarting doesn't help you there anyway. The players at the top of ship arena aren't going to keep the gap on you as there's a ceiling on what you can farm. Once you have leviathan and the crew at high relics, there's no other way (right now) to improve your ship arena ability.
As you have Revan, that's at least part way along the Leviathan path.
Probably, you need some focus, a goal and follow some good advice on what you should be farming. Focused farming will make a big difference.
