Samurai, you're a ****. Likely young. Probably millennial. You can't change a **** into a golden nugget. Im glad you got a chubby from your two wins, but you'll get crushed going forward. I you don't like you're results, only a fool does the same thing over and over and expects better results. Don't tell us all how bad you suck, then tell people who give you real and genuine advice that they are **** for trying to help you. It makes you look like the child you are....and doesn't say much for your ability to overcome your inadequacies either
Impressive. Everything you just said is wrong.
I'm, like, 45 years old. I'm a college professor. I'm guessing that makes me older and more educated than you. This is a game, dude, and I play it the way I want to. I spend my free time in it following what I want to follow. You kind of can't tell me how I ought to be managing my playing time so as to be seen as 'adult' by you (frankly, laughable and irrelevant, anyway)... because this is FOR FUN. A lot of you kids online seem to lose perspective on that.
I'm aware I asked for a very specific kind of advice, and I'm sorry (not really) that it wasn't the kind of advice you *wanted* to be asked for? It's really weird. You could've just not responded to this post. It's sort of a waste of your precious, very mature time, isn't it? Talking about my 'chubby' tells me a lot more about you than it says anything about me.
The internet is a weird place, man. Thanks for giving me a fun story for the day. =)
The internet is a weird place partly because of people like you...
The next time your student asks you for advice on how to improve his grade but doesn't want to take your advice because it's not the specific kind of advice he sought, remember yourself in here tonight.
You want to know how to win with subpar setups? I think you already know the answer to that question without having to ask another soul, but you decided to ask a rhetorical question anyway.
You will continue to exist in ships purgatory until you spend the required time and effort to collect the necessary shards to level up your characters and gears. The most efficient thing you can do is NOT play ships at all until you decide to treat it as an integral part of the game.
You maybe a professor, but you might want to be a better student of the game if you want to improve your gaming experience.
Sincerely
Another 40 something gamer
