depends what you are using him for.

I have 7* g9. at 6* g8 was very squishy even for raids or gw, would not survive his taunt until it ended or somebody debuffed him.

at lvl 74, g9, 7* I can use him w/ a low 70's rebel team on t5 raid .

he is easy to farm, would get him to7* if you are planning on using him

Becomes viable at 7* g9.... Extra gear levels are always useful however because the longer he stays alive the longer he gives you tm

7*, G8 is a minimum imo. G9 is preferred tho.

My experience with Han says gear 10 and push him to 11 as soon as you can.
