The main reason why I believe STH and other taunters are so much less viable now is almost singularly down to QGJ. Simply put, I don't believe his dispel should grant O up to all allies. It should be restricted to Jedis, or just himself. With his high speed, assist and leader ability, he is already an extremely coveted toon. Add to that his basic will have an even higher chance to remove TM at lvl 8. He is too much of a multi-tool. Hence other team synergies are made redundant and tanks like STH are easy pickings.
The last update did bring a huge amount of balance to the game, IMO. But the sheer proliferation of QGJ in arena is evidence enough that he does too much.
So: restrict Humbling Blow to grant o up to only jedi allies or just QGJ himself. They can even adjust his 1st special to grant the assisting ally +50% damage if QGJ has O up.
I see what you are saying, but honestly, with Dooku and/or Daka stuns and even Lumi and her ability block, it's fairly easy to keep QGJ at bay while on offense. If any one of those works, by the time QGJ goes it's often far too late.
I know... And that's the thing: it isn't impossible to 'deal' with QGJ and so they probably won't change anything about him. :/
It's a change I'd like to see not because I think he's OP in the sense that he's OHKO'ing everyone, but because he's boringly good. If that makes any sense...
