Strategy to beat Dooku RG Daka teams

Firstly I don't currently have a viable strategy so I want to turn it over to the brains trust here on the forums.

2nd if there are some viable strategies out there I sincerely hope that they can be added to this thread.

3rd if there are some useful strategies I hope this thread can be stickied to allow others to easily reference.

What I have gathered so far.
Stormtrooper Han to tank and provide turn meter. QGJ to dispel taunt and provide offense up
GS for DPS
Rey for DPS
IG 86 for DPS
Yoda / Daka for utility

Other thoughts
Tusken raider for assist and DPS
Phasma for TM gain
Lumi / Old Ben for evasion
Poe for possible expose and TM reduction

Welcome all comers - please be thoughtful and constructive.

  • Just took down a nasty team of dooku daka rg gs yoda all 7* max.

    I used:
Poggle (need the dmg buff to blow through their tankiness quicker)
    Han
    86
88 (was surprisingly good, ability blocked daka as rg died and managed to take her down second with ease. also got rid of yoda foresight before he spread it)
    gs because he's gs

Kill order rg - daka - gs - dooku - yoda
  • Just had a nasty team in GW. Dooku, 5's, Kylo, Daka, and Lumi. I had to bring in Phasma with 4 healers. I have never seen so much evasion ever in one match. And the countering from 5's and Dooku when I did hit was so obnoxious it took about 15 minutes to finish off this team. I tried a Poggle/Poe/droid team first and got annihilated quickly.
  • Great analysis from @LastJedi - thanks!

I think RG's taunt only lasts one round, but of course it depends on where his turn was. So it could last up to 2 rounds, but usually it's going to be around 1 and a half turns, ending on RG's second turn after the ally went below 50%. So there's another tip. Keep an eye on RG's turn meter when you are trying to take that DPS down to the green. If RG's turn meter is full, anyway, then you might risk overdoing it, knowing you will only have to wait out a single turn. Vs waiting for another toon with the "right amount of damage", but who will act directly after RG.

Plus, his unique makes him gain TM if any other ally takes damage. So if you have an AOE, you can even make his taunt wear off faster by speeding up RG, even if the AOE doesn't take out the damaged toon.
