Fan favorite? Hardly. A fan favorite would be someone like a lightsaber wielding Jedi Luke, or R2-D2. Most people (including the majority of SW fans) would have absolutely no clue who Thrawn even is.
I really wish people would stop insisting that the cartoons on television are even remotely as popular as the movies. And I wish EA/CG would actually give us legitimate fan favorites to use in the game.
whoa dude!! if you think Thrawn isnt a fan favorite you dont know much about star wars out side of the movies. So many of the hardcore fans from the Old EU were dying for Thrawn to be made cannon. And his character from the books was one of the best villains in all of star wars. You dont have to like the TV series but most real star wars fans find it pretty good.
Totally agree. I read the Timothy Zahn books probably 20 years ago or so and was a big fan then. Now Im just hoping Mara Jade is made canon.
