SWGoH Update: An Imperial Threat Rises…

I haven't watched any of the "Rebels" series but I read the Timothy Zahn saga and Thrawn was a very cool character, so I'm glad to see him in the game. Hopefully we get some good Empire characters this time that aren't too slow to compete.

Kallus is interesting for a couple of reasons. But I think no. As others have mentioned book releases Star Wars celebration good time to introduce Thrawn. The Inquisitors are also interesting because they are not Sith but have the look.
Hopefully more ships. And yes DT and Kren farmable. Along with vader's tie.
If true- this kind of sets up a pattern of alternating months of LS and DS as well.

That's interesting that they're not Sith, just Dark Side Force Users. I hope they stay true to the story then. Savage technically wasn't a Sith (no Darth title) but they classified him as one anyway.

The prefect update would be:

Thrawn released as a yoda type event requiring empire
Reworks of tarkin, veers, snow and stormtrooper
farmable release of tie advanced 1 and tie reaper

According the pattern, didn't they release in that order since that new release lifecycle?
R1 -> Krennic/DT -> Sith -> Phoenix Squad

And I kind of put a divide into the release of characters with Tournaments and after tournaments. So to me we re in the era of AT. After tournaments.

Grand Inquisitor is highly unlikely. Pretty sure somewhere the Devs/Disney said they would only add currently relevant characters and GI died in Rebels. It wouldn't make sense to have S3 Kanan, Ezra, and Sabine alongside him from S1. I'm thinking they will add Thrawn, And possibly Kallus. Not sure his DS/LS role nowadays. The other Inquisitors would also be ruled out. Unless EA decides to go with a generic inquisitorius, the other (in the show) were all unique characters.

Personally, I would have loved to see Fenn Rao and Gar Saxon. They would start the branch to a Mandalorian tag. (Sabine, Boba,

Well...Darth maul declared himself a lord of the Sith and Took savage as his apprentice, so he's technically a Sith.

Yeah, I am hopeful that we do not have to get into that discussion again lol.
