I'm working on Elder (almost 6* g8) but it's a looooong grind.

Best of my knowledge, the ONLY reliable way is :

Teebo lead. He stealths himself half the time saving u from burning the stealth ability so u can reduce tm...omega it.

EE for cleanse and his basic gives Teebo tm. No omegas necessary.

Rex, basic reduces tm, special is a huge hit against an add and back-up cleanse + tm. omega his everything.

QGJ, basic gives tm and reduces it. omega it.

5's or RG for slow. Unless u have 5's gear X w/ a scanner, his potency is only 20%. He's better than RG only if u have him totally maxed and fully omega'd.

The only other reasonable alternative for QGJ or Rex is a FULLY geared ES w/ omega basic. He needs his gear X scanner for enough potency to stick the tm reduce. He can actually be better than Rex as EE's basic also gives him tm and his tm reduction is higher. QGJ gives himself tm so its an even swap at best, but QGJ is far better at handling adds w/ assist and buff strip. So, it can be done by 100% f2p.

Asking for easy to star up, easy to get blah blah blah toons to solo an entire phase on the highest tier raid is ludicrous, just sayin'. If these characters were easy to get, star and gear, everyone would solo P1 and odds r as 1/50, u wouldn't even get a chance.

Off the topic, what the heck has happened to society ? Everyone has a sense of entitlement, expects a pat on the back for doing the minimum, gets an award just for participating, expects massive returns for minimal input, expects ppl to do 4 them when they only do for themselves. We r doomed.

Maybe you didn't get my message, maybe I wrote
it wrong, maybe I didn't express myself well
enough (the internets will do
that) or maybe you didn't read it properly.

I asked "what toons can help me gain maximum control, that are fairly easy to star up".
Not asking for the moon here, not asking for toons on a silver plater, simply want just pointers on obtaining non chromium toons that can help this part of the raid.

I'm very very FAR from being FTP but I don't spend on chroniums....

Long term Rey could be something else (Scout, Chirpa, Chewbacca fx) - I run GS over Rey and average around 1.5 mill aswell. Dengar comming soon, if tenacity down works Id expect him to appear in these teams aswell.

P2p: Teebo(l), Phasma, Qui-G, Elder, Rex.
F2p: Teebo (l), Phasma, Qui-G, Elder, Scout (but tons of other decent alternatives).

I was late to the farming Elder party. So have him 51/85 5* , so won't use him anytime soon.

Same boat for Scout. They're both long grinds but I'm getting there. Almost 6*

Chirpa; have him 12/100 6*. But looking at abilities, if I throw him in once 7*, do I still keep
teebo lead, or use chirpa lead?

Teebo lead. The chance to stealth himself w/out using his special creates more opportunity to strip tm.

Without Elder, it is honestly impossible to solo it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Elder increases Teebo speed by 25-40% with omega. I have soloed it, and My opinion is Elder (speed up Teebo), QGJ (with omega), Teebo, Phasma (only reliable slow, RG is horrible and 5's is resisted) are absolutely necessary. The 5th slot can be variable (I have seen scout, Chewbacca, Rex used, I use Rey). With regards to easy toons to acquire, get elder from the Guild shipments, he isn't easy but he is worth it.

Also, Teebo special is super broken. But if you tinker around you can figure out a way to make it work.

Unfortunately I disagree with most of Roxx's analysis. QGJ has 200% penetration, never replace him. RG and 5's are a futile exercise as their slow is completely unreliable. Lasserini I totally agree with, especially regarding Dengar. Just so you know, I have also never bought a chromium, but spend a lot of energy farming shards.

I have been able to do around 500k with Ackbar, but that is about it. And it wasn't easy.

Fives works well on T6 piggies, but his potency is too low for T7.

You're probably better off doing Teebo lead with phasma, ackbar, QGJ, Rey (or GS) until you can get Elder

This is not a full TM reduction team but has enough TM reduction to allow for Rey or GS to do damage. I'd probably go with Rey with this team as she can get rid of the pig guards quickly. GS is good cuz he can get assists - esp. stealthed Teebo and QGJ ones to do more TM reduction.

Switching in Elder for Ackbar makes a significant difference (ewok synergy, heal not as dependent on having debuffs to clear, and he can revive).

Soloing requires RNG for good TM reduction on the pig captain - that's why GS was better choice for 5th member for Lasserini's team. He can get assists that reduce TM but also does not trigger as much positive TM for pig captain as Rey (her flurry of blows registers as 3 attacks).

Also remember it's Teebo G10 PLUS scanner at g10 that is needed to get him to 80% potency which makes him viable but still RNG dependent. Should have at least basic and leader abilities omega'd.

Chirpa can serve as the fifth as well.

Teebo needs to be lead cuz stealth ability has 6 turn cooldown and need to have as much stealth as possible to land that 100% TM reduction on captain...but as Lasserini mentioned there are still some bugs with teebo's stealth.
