- I stacked health set protection mods on CN, partly because that's what I have available.
On primaries you get 23.5% protection versus 5.88% health. So four protection mods give you an extra 94% protection, versus an extra 23.52% health. So 5500 extra health versus 21,264 protection.
Nebits main job on my droid squad is to taunt and take the hits off of the droids while reducing their cool downs. If he makes it to his second turn, it is a bonus. I feel the initial protection shield is worth it over having higher health for his heal over time to take advantage of. Heal over time won't do much good if he is dead already, and he won't get a lot of turns to take advantage of it.
Also, his protection up on basic isn't really reliable, and he won't get to use basic until his third turn anyways, and the match is usually decided by then, if he has taunt up, the extra protection on other toons doesn't matter anyways.
Defense sets may be good for him, but will require some testing. I will probably end up going defense and tenacity sets with protection primaries. - Very good points, @CptCaveman. Can always count on you for help and friendly advice! I'm not used to having a tank since Nightsisters have no tank. The last time I used one was Royal Guard like three months ago. The Chief takes quite a beating in the Mod Challenges and the times I use him in Galactic War. I imagine he does't last too long in the Arena! A noble sacrifice for the chief of Jawas, haha.
- Great insite guys can wait till people have maxed out Scavanger and start playing around once I get my jawas at effective lvl Im super curious to see what they can do under a Nute Gunray Lead Iv mentions this before I know but Nute L, Nebit, JE, Dathcha, Scavenger. I also rly like the idea of throwing dengar in that team some where

I am very interested in a Nute lead team as well. 55% crit chance and 30% turn meter gain for stealthed allies is pretty sick. Jawa and Dathcha both have aoes, so can get 2 turns with 4 crits. Nebbit can call two Jawas to assist, giving them tm on crit. It is just like droid HK lead teams before omegas, but more crit chance.
My Nute is 6* and low level, low gear. May start on him after I finish all my Jawas. I am glad I have farmed Jawas up, both for the crit dmg challenge, and for the omega event this weekend. I only have Phasma at high level for FO, so Jawas saved me there.- Finished Nebit. On to Jawa now.
Coming along....

HK lead is the way to go. The 50% turn meter gain on crit is what makes droid teams good. I am running HK, 88, 86, JE, Nebit. Finish first almost every day, and with Nebit I don't drop as much as before. Haven't dropped out of top ten with Nebit now.- So what do people think about the Jawas in light of the raid information that we got?
- Think they will shine in the phase with all those battle droids maybe together with Ugnaught instead of scavenger
- I have almost maxed out my jawa team, and omegas on almost everyone. Je is still 6* and at gl 9 scavenger is also gl 9. They are surprisingly fantastic, I have been using then in GW and they are very effective. I think everyone is over looking scavengers awesomeness. With omegas he lands lots thermals, with the super speedy Je is not uncommon to blow 3+ detonators. Most notably today jawas cleared node 9 after handling nodes 4-8. Node 9 was old Ben, rey, 5s, RG, and sun fac. Most had some protection except nebit he was close to full health. Ended the match loosing Je and nebit.
