Hiya everyone! I've been reading this thread for awhile and I have to say it has a ton of valuable information here! I'm actually a level 85 who started November 2016 so this is a bit embarrassing to ask after all this time... Is it better to 7* fewer toons (who are already at higher gear levels) or farm (unlock first and gear up) multiple toons even if they are not 7*? Basically, even though I'm a level 85, is it better to continue to make better the toons that I already have or farm the toons I don't have yet so I can have multiple faction teams unlocked? The reason why I'm asking this in the first place is because of this... when I first started the only "legendary events" were Palp and Yoda. Because of that I farmed the classic Wiggs combo and threw in a few others to have a solid rebel team and because they give you when you start Jedi Consular I built a fairly solid team around him. I eventually went on to 7* them both (Palp and yoda)... So for awhile everything felt like it was working and I had it all in control. Then (in the process of 7*ing my Jedi and rebels for the two events) I hit a roadblock. Thrawn or r2 was released (I forget who was first ATM). So THEN I had to shift focus to my Empire/Phoenix to unlock them both at the least. So then I 7*ed my Empire and 5*ed my Phoenix and, as luck would have it, CLS was announced along with the required toons. I was stunned because I only had 1 of the required toons. A 7* gear 8 Luke. So the I had to work on CLS team (old Ben and r2 are the only ones left for me ATM to 7*) and then you already know what just happened... BB8! TBH I never farmed First Order simply because they didn't seem that necessary at the time. Now I realize my mistake. All I have now ATM is FOTP, FOST, and FOO. I don't yet have Phasma (though I'll have her from daily login rewards since I only need 8 shards left) but Kylo's RNG for me is horrible. If I get 2-3 shards over the course of multiple days, I'm lucky. Right now my focus is split (in Cantina) between Old Ben and Kylo. So... LONG STORY SHORT... to avoid all this time and stress of unlocking the toons, do I put my focus in unlocking toons before they are needed at the last minute with little notice and take a hiatus from focusing on my more powerful 7* toons... Or do I just keep at what I'm doing and 7*ing and farming my most powerful and useful toons to me ATM and thereby not unlocking more toons that (as with BB8) might be and will probably be needed at some point to do something in the near future? Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to be descriptive enough. Thanks so much for your time. I'd love to hear back from a fellow level 85 to get your wisdom on this subject.
