The Ultimate Guild Activity / Raid Tracker [Feedback Encouraged]

Hey SWGOH Community!

Madducks here from Defective Clones. I'd like to get your feedback on a relatively comprehensive 'Guild Activity Tracker' (or whatever you want to call it) that I've put together.

Defective Clones Tracker <---- Click the link to check it out!

The tracker accurately captures the following:

  • Daily Ticket Counts (Not based on in-game daily tickets, which is bugged)
  • Lifetime tickets
  • Raid Damage for the past 7 H Rancor and N AAT raids.
  • Average DPR (Damage per raid)
  • Variance from average and previous DPR values.
  • Conditional formatting marking highs and lows.
  • Conditional formatting marking each respective members' career personal best in Rancor and AAT.
  • Various accolades like; most improved, weekly MVP, and etc.
  • 'Get out the boot' evaluation to determine who is on the chopping block.

For the rest of you data junkies out there that keep similar data to track your guild's performance in the interest of making progress, I'm hoping to accomplish the following with this post:

  • Share my approach with hopes that someone my find it useful for their own guild. Plagiarizer away! I just ask that you share the love if you make improvements for yourself.
  • Collect feedback on what I might be missing that could improve my data set.
  • For folks that are savvy with Google Sheets functions, I'd love to hear about any improvements you'd make to reduce manual data input if you go as far as to evaluate the functions I'm using presently (simple stuff, just VLOOKUP, IFERROR, etc.)
  • Finally, if anyone is familiar with a way I can extract data from the game's database (in an approved way, of course) to automate/simplify some of my reporting tasks, I'd love to hear about it!

Hoping to see some constructive feedback (good or bad)!

    Thanks!

How do you acquire the data?

The data is manual, however, I only track 2 items.

    • Raid damage from each raid. This information is added to the "Raw Data" tabs (highlighted red), which then feeds the correlating green tab using VLOOKUP.
    • Lifetime raid tickets. I use simple math to figure out the average tickets per day. ((Current lifetime raid tickets) - (Original day I logged lifetime raid tickets) / the difference in number of days between today's date and the original date I logged lifetime raid tickets). That gives me the average per day.

Unfortunately, it's manual, but it only takes about 5 minutes to enter in the raid damage and/or lifetime raid tickets. So, I can keep it up to date with about 15 minutes for a full update, about 3 times a week.

Yeah I think that is the key issue, if its manual then it doesn't stop the majority of the work needed. If you can ever export data then it's great

Yep, it's manual. I'm willing to bet EA doesn't offer up any form of query into their database for the game. If they did, I'd LOVE to build a more robust report and share it with the community. #AManCanDream
    • So, sorry for bumping this but it ain't that outdated.
I took great interest in your sheet, I use similiar ones but on a way smaller scale.

About the extracting of data, swgoh.gg has to be using some DB extraction for their profile creation.
I don't know how it's programmed or from where they take it but I'm certain it ain't manual input.

Perhaps there is a similiar approach to extracting activity data.
    • Swgoh.gg analyzed how the game integrates with EA and pulls from the exact integration source
