Theory Crafting an Unusual Team

STHan + AoE spam (which is the current meta) will give this team fits. GeoSpy and Leia are too squishy to stand up to the abuse, and Fives/Aayla will just feed the other team buckets of TM.

You don't think the stun+slow from aayla/fives will be enough to negate the aoe?

Try it, and if possible, keep obi-wan at a low star level. He'll probably be defeated quickly and give the rest of your team super boost. Revive with ewok elder. Do it again.

Problem is they may target Ewok elder first if possible, I always do with him and Daka

Not to stomp on innovation, but your distinct lack of a cleanse will be problematic. A single b2 aoe or Ani basic will prevent your Leia/Geo Spy from stealthing if they get caught out. And then your lack of a taunt allows focus fire on your only damagers.

Additionally, you lack really synergy to make any specific damager shine. I find when theorycrafting teams that Leia and spy do not synergize well as both require different supports.
Geo spy requires:
- sun Fac
- Potentially an ig88 lead
- A reliable debuff machine (Vader zeta)
- Cleanses

Leia requires:
- cleanses
- Some form of offensive dispel
- Assist calls (Biggs ot ackbar)

Both require some form of redundancy in terms of taunts and cleanses.

A dream team for this might be:
Vader (z)
Gen Ken
Spy
Fac
Boba

Or
88
Fac
Spy
Leia
Gen Ken.

More reasonable teams probably need to chose either spy or Leia to run, as the only effective taunt/cleanse is Gen Ken (who many people consider too gated to consider for teams) or sun Fac (an almost chromium only).

during yesterday's GW, i tried the latter configuration w/ the 88 lead (sans GK, with AA instead) and it didn't work out too well -- going to the well again today, will flip-flop STH/AA leads instead, see where that gets me. I don't have Boba/Vader leveled up enough to try that comp but I am curious to know if anyone else has tried that or either of these lineups.

No, because all of those counters are going to be intercepted by their taunts. Aayla's stun is irrelevant when the only toon she's stunning is sthan and feeding everyone tm.

Leia is weak, because of her dependency from RNG. Sometimes she's awesome (especially combined with Ackbar's leader skill), but sometimes her dmg is single and poor as hell.

Tuftedpaper85 took care of most of this, but the short answer is "no", and I know from experience, running a STHan/Lando team. Every shot from Aayla/Fives feeds Lando TM, so Lando hits more often and hits harder than Aayla/Fives while hitting everyone on your team.

If you really want a stealth trick team, running something like:

Teebo / Aayla / Fives / B2 / JKA

This teams makes it awful to attack anyone.

• Focus B2, and JKA triggers + damage from others
  
• Focus JKA, and B2 goes off
  
• Focus anyone else and you're dealing with both B2/JKA triggering + potential counter damage.
  

On top of this, the stealth makes it so you regularly have to attack bad targets, and Teebo / B2 both bring a dispel for STHan (whom would otherwise give you hell).

That's an interesting team. Have you tried it yourself? If so, how well does it really fare on arena?
