She's great in GW. I justed started using her as a leader and now it's pretty easy.
She's great in GW but don't expect much in arena.- Best leader in the game for GW in my opinion. But Arena fights don't last long enough for her to be a factor so she is pretty much a non-factor there.
- She can work in arena with high hp setups
- Don't care for her. She's a one trick pony. I dropped her from my GW roster about 6 weeks ago due to be tired of her being called as assist and swapping lineup around to bypass. I haven't missed her one bit in that mode.
I only find her useful in the Yoda challenge. - Barriss is love, Barriss is life.
I use her in arena as well with a high hp set up (plus Rey for DPS) and she rocks there as well, regularly hold top 200 and pursuing top 100 - I agree it's extrememly annoying when qgj only calls her for assist literally 100% of the time

+1, its ALWAYS her in GW, :s "JbizzyG;190032" wrote:
Yeah, pointless in arena.
I disagree!
Yes she will essentially put a huge "attack me" over your rank position.. but offensively she literally turns low health jedi into mini tanks! Fast moving jedi with low health.. namely Yoda and QGJ heal very frequently because of her passive when she is leading... it's essentially close to 1.5k health per action/attack they make! On Yoda this can be quite significant because he has several methods to regain turn meter. QGJ slightly less so but he too can act very frequently and thus heal very often..
Her ability to balance team health straight through healing immunity... can essentially save a character or two from a team containing Sidious and/or Kylo Ren...
Her passive ability is only useful if you use a full or close to full team of jedi. And yes she will hit like a wet noddle.. but her hit is team small heal half the time...
You will actually find a Barriss leader will heal for a lot more than Luminara does.
Barriss is very useful in dealing with alpha strike teams that depend heavily on burst damage rather than substained damage.
People who struggle with Poe based teams.. will most of the time find switching out one of your glass canons or tanky characters for Barriss will actually turn the tide for you, especially if you combine her with Luminara and are quick to remove any healing immunity debuffers on the enemy team.- But to her credit
Bariss lead
Lumi
Qgj
Gs
Yoda/rey
That team will clear GW all day every day, that last slot can really be anyone as long as they are either dps or healer - This is gonna sound jerkish. But I find her max gear at 70 about as useful as she was at gear 7 5 star level 60. Yeah she gains a few thousand hp which does make her healing stuff better but she takes maybe an extra hot to die, and went from over cooked noodle to aldente.
