Who should get my next zeta? I currently run Deathtrooper, Thrawn, Tarkin lead, GK and DN. My squad is doing great and I don't see any need for some real big changes. I do not have Tarkin's unique zeta'd yet so it could be a good addition to my current squad. I also think Thrawns leadership ability has tons of potential, but I am not sure if I really want to make that jump when it is not necessary. Does anybody who has both prefer one over the other, thoughts? Another option would be just to hoard it. I could really load up being ahead of the curve with empire.

Having played both, I can say thrawn lead is superior to tarkin lead. I don't regret his zeta at all.

The Thrawn DT DN ShT GK squad on my shard seems to hold slightly worse(despite being a whole lot more polished). Does Tarkin's unique make a noticable difference or does he basically take the same amount of damage and hit for 2k more on his AOE.

If you end up hacing to face faster Tarkin teams or DV teams with TFP (not kidding), you'll be happy to have Thrawn in your back pocket as a lead. He's the most OP lead in the game in that situation. I haven't heard much on Tarkin's unique being all that awesome. His lead is worth the zeta, but unique ...that's really overkill. If you're okay with Tarkin lead as is I would hoard it....I have Thrawn lead zeta'd however and love it. But my shard also shifted heavy to DV / Tarkin and there are a few that can outspeed me so I get a lot of use out of it...plus I wanted it for P2 with Troopers anyway.

If I zeta Thrawn lead I really want to try Thrawn DN GK ShT RG. I like the idea of RG having TM from his own, ShT, and Thrawns unique. It would be a lot of stuns, heals, defense and protection added.

Yeah I'm the fastest on the shards aside from the Thrawn team since I keep DT fastest and his Thrawn is 275 speed. (Which I could make a coin flip if I zeta Tharkin lead but we collude anyway and I can still beat it). The big kicker is my Thrawn is only 6* so it can't help me in raids. Sort of leaning towards hoarding it.
