So I have TFP. I was told he does great damage. He's 7* gear 8. I can barely get 3-4k damage out of him. He never crits. I have hit one crit in weeks. TFP isn't anywhere near an arena toon in a mature shard, but he can do a lot of damage early on when paired with an AOE debuff squad. If you run him with someone like Vader or Tarkin he can shine.

Not everyone gets the same mods. You can excel even with just the basic health set as long as you understand them. Google one of the game-changer videos and mod upgrade flowchart. Once you Omega his basic, you’ll get an extra 15% damage there, plus he gets +35% damage for Every Enemy Suffering a Debuff...so that’s a potential +175% damage. As for crits, you need to run a crit damage mod set and a crit chance mod set with a CD (or CC) Triangle and a potency (primary) cross...and lots of speed.

So does that mean I need Jawas for the mod challenge. To be honest I'm not well versed in mods. Or should I do scoundrels for crit chance?

And does that mean I have to farm a whole team just to mod my tfp?! Lol

Try modding him for crit damage and crit chance rather than health sets and defense sets.... ;)

Deathtrooper is a great raid toon, but his superpower (deathmark) is almost wasted in PvP. In my opinion.

Where do you place and how old is your shard?

Mine is 14 months, I'm in the 1-60 range, and I can't remember the last time I saw a TFP. All DS teams are EP Vader Sion DN Thrawn. A few Traya. I think one IPD.

I'm in a nov 2017 shard and I can finish in the top 10 most days. Sometimes top 5.

Running palp zeta lead (218 speed)
Vader (233 base speed)
Thrawn (240)
Tfp (267)
Shore (188)

TFP and Shore generally fall out of use as your shard gets older.

I do share a payout with someone using Shore but he has IPD in TFP's place.

I love TFP in Squad Arena. He's fast, hits hard, and can mass buff block with targeted ability block to boot.

I also have only been playing 6 months, so I'm not competing in the more developed shards.
