Timeout team

Has anybody seen/tried using a combo of GK+Zarris, Zombie, Daka and R2?

The idea is to make an ultra defensive timeout team. Two tanks, two healers, and R2 to force opponents to attack Zombie. I'm not sure whether this would actually be effective but I'd love to find out!

Perhaps this would be useful in Territory Wars, then?
  • Oh yeah sure GK zerriss is good in TW , even better combined with zombie.
Best approach could be killing GK first, wait for the battle to be over, and kill the rest starting from Daka
  • In defense R2 AI wont target zombi with smokescreen... So u could trow another toon here... Since ur team have 0 damage ouput i think either DN or ventress could make it better xD
Daka HP would raise a lot (if Zetaed) thanks to zombi deaths as well as DN HP after anihilate so they wont kill him easily (using ventress she will hit hard after a few zombie deaths too), if u play ur planed team in offense u wouldnt be able to kill anyone!
While using DN u can anihilate them one by one, or just hit hard using ventress xD
  • What about zzdaka lead, zeta talzin on unique, zeta ventress unique, zbariss, zombie/gk.

Seems take forever to beat them, meanwhile plague all around drain enemy :dizzy:
  • I've run that team, @RacerDejak. In arena it held on defense quite well before JTR came out. Now doesn't hold for me nearly as well as my vanilla NS team (zzMT, zDaka, zAsajj, Zombie, Initiate/Acolyte/Spirit). It's not huge, but it's the difference between dropping from 1-25 and 1-45. I think the effective -30 on speed you have from running Daka lead is a dealbreaker against top tier teams.

But yeah, in TW it's my hypothesis that that team is glorious on defense. (But since we have no stats, I have no empirical data to back this up.)
  • I also thought much about ns with zarriss on TW Defense and what I thought is to use the different strategies in one team. So what about GK lead, Zarriss, Zombie, Acolyte and Daka. You can kill acolyte only with dispell or aoe. But aoe only if zarriss is dead, zarriss is protected by zombie and gk. Daka can revive. So also JTR should have problems to beat them. The only weaknesses would be DN, who could kill GK, if zombie protects at perfect timing by taunting, the rest could also not be killed easily or a long living asajj, who wouldn't longer care about 20% healing

Congratz @fmf ! the team is giving me headache. Need to run around avoid that team

It's interesting battle n interesting team.. but dissapear slowly bcause of JTR team. Fight JTR team not so hard as fight ur team comp
  • I feel like this team would be very easy for a zader squad. Almost no damage which would make it easy pickings. Zader, Zid, Shore +2
