No. But you should pick either Magma or Snowtrooper to level up for your Empire team(i.e. they're both no better than a 5th for your team). The "dark" troopers didn't get a lot of love in this game.

No as 3 of my troopers were lvl 2 and i was facing lvl 80 toons :#
