But if they have Biggs and Slave I, you probably have a problem. Kill Biggs first, then a (maybe even masterplanned) Slave will be your death.
Remember there is a 7* fully geared Biggs, a 7* fully geared Boba sitting in it. So with that Slave, they simply have one fully geared ship+crew more than you do.
And probably in a few levels also in your bracket the people who have Boba already, will suddenly show up with a 4-star Slave I, when the farming of the 80 shards is done.
You are right. In my guild I also was kind of shocked that people spend 1700 energy for the dark/light side/hard node battles. I first thought they saved the energy for some days, but no - some people really spend that much money every day.
