What Level for Tenacity?

Old Ben squads are still popular and a couple players lucked into some big speed mods that I haven't. Rex keeps getting locked out before he can use Squad Tactics. So I decided to give him Tenacity mods and got his Tenacity to 73% thinking this would help and I just gave up the little speed I had already given him. Old Ben still locks him out at 73% Tenacity, so that was about useless. What level of Tenacity is useful?

  • That sounds like a lot but doesn't Ben naturally have a high potency?
  • My Ackbar's at about 82% tenacity including his leader ability and he gets ability blocked like 60-
    70% of the time vs OB's with potency mods and only like 33% vs OB's without them. I think it's because OB's ability has a base 100% chance to ability block. If you're running Rex, it's probably best to speed him up if you can to go before OB or STHan.

    I haven't been as lucky with my speed mods as these guys, they have some larger values on their HP mods that gives them the edge. Just have to keep messing with it, thanks!
  • Old ben maxed with out mods has 23% potency
    So with 73% tenacity you supposedly have a 50% chance to resist. Lower for a modded old ben.
    A +24% potency primary mod only gives you a 26% chance to resist
    2 potency mods with the max set bonus and the 24% primary drops it to 16% chance to resist which would be the about the same as having no tenacity mods at all.

    Why does it have to be so confusing? LOL! Why not just get rid of passive Tenacity & Potency and just govern the frequency of an ability landing by probability? If they want Mind Tricks to land 50% of the time, then just say Old Ben has a 50% chance of landing offense down and ability block and call it a day. Let characters like Rex and Yoda have a limited active Tenacity buff like they currently do? It would be so much simpler...
