What should I use for Emperor's Demise

Doesn't matter what you use, looks like you are going to have to wait til the next Emperor's demise event.

Thats unfortunate so looks like I will have to go after mods and gear for my rebels I probably will be able to get a few shards and rewards but I doubt I will get Palpatine.

You have until the end of the event to get them to 5*

Here is what you should do. Take advantage of the double drop cantina event and save your crystals for cantina refreshes. Farm SRP to 5* and then Luke, while also looking in Guild Shipments for Luke.

Farm Biggs to 5* in GW.

Farm Leia to 5* in Arena.

The last one is the tricky one. If you are above level 60 then just get Wedge up to 5* in Fleet shipments. If not then if you already have 3* Bistan, maybe the free rewards will get him to 5* by the end of the month. Also, Ackbar is unlocked by the ship events and you might have time to get him up after Leia in the Arena. Finally Hoth Rebel Scout is available in the Cantina Store, which you should have plenty of credits from the double rewards event and using refreshes.
