How do you beat this? You can try to go after their damage (Rey generally) and kill her around RG's taunt. What I mean is get her to 70%, the GS special attack/combo her. Sadly Dooku's broken ass evasion means that this often fails and you essentially insta-lose, but it's the best strat I've found.
I also run QGJ to dispel the taunt so you can get their other high damage out of the way, but again there's the random evade crap to deal with, plus the fact that you can eat 5 stuns with 3 characters taking a turn on that team.
EA just went from one meta to the next, so people really aren't tremendously wrong. If you want to beat RG, run the same team as everyone else and beat the AI, and hope that you don't get targeted too many times as you climb the ladder.
The development team has no experience with mobas and mmorpgs in general. They have a tendency to create characters with vastly OP abilities and combinations without creating a consistent counter in return.
